The NSW team sucks. QLD will really be up against it trying to prove for the 395th consecutive time that they are underdogs. In fact, the only interesting challenge of this series may be watching the Maroons coaching staff/selectors/players constantly trying to talk down their chances.

hey aaron,

you make a pretty good point there. every year queensland say how they are doing it tough and can't afford jerseys and all that stuuf - but they somehow come out with superman suits on.

at least the NSW state of origin side can be claimed as red hot favourites and that must be less pressure - albeit slightly.

bring it on! Origin is amazing!

its the blues that say the maroons are underdogs every year, as a qlder im sick of hearing the blues say that and then whinging about how qld says it. origin is great cos the two sides are fairly evenly matched at the end of the day, i look forward to game 2
