Season gets underway for 2008

The 2008 Rugby League season is already underway, with Round 1 of the NRL Premiership now completed and the first batch of all important NRL Results have been tallied and the Ladder begins to start forming.

Starting with healthy wins were the Melbourne Storm, Brisbane Broncos and Parramatta Eels - each team having solid Round 1, 2008 NRL wins. In other results, the Cronulla Sharks had a nice solid win at Brookvale Oval and the Gold Coast Titans had a very big win of the North Queensland Cowboys at their new Robina Stadium - getting them off to a chart topping start.
